Eurotorg LFL sales rise 5.9% in 1H 2018

European Supermarkets Magazine, the leading magazine covering the industry across the continent, reported that Eurotorg’s like-for-like sales increased by 5.9% in the first half of its financial year, driven by a 0.4% increase in traffic and a 5.5% increase in average basket size.

The magazine also published an interview with Eurotorg CEO Andrei Zubkou focus on Eurotorg’s progress in 2018 and the outlook for the rest of the year. ESM noted that Andrei Zubkou is “upbeat on the outlet of the business”, given the positive macro environment in Belarus.
