Sustainable Development at Eurotorg

The approach of Eurotorg LLC to sustainable development is guided by the Company’s mission – to contribute to improving the quality of life of the people of Belarus.

In this regard, Eurotorg is guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the targets of the National Sustainable Development Strategy 2035, while advancing its own practical initiatives and partnerships.

As a first step, Eurotorg’s Board of Directors approved the Company’s Sustainable Development Strategy. The document identifies three priority areas – Planet, Product, and People – each comprising several focus areas and measurable targets set through 2030.

In particular, Eurotorg aims to:

• • reduce environmental impact of retail and logistics facilities, as well as the Company’s offices;
• • ensure a safe working environment for employees;
• • offer customers healthy, high-quality products and support the development of healthy habits;
• • develop responsible supplier relationships throughout the entire supply chain;
• • adhere to the principles of business ethics, transparency, and control.

At the same time, Eurotorg goes beyond a mere declaration of intent. The Company is committed to integrating the principles of sustainable development into all of its business processes, enhancing employee engagement, inspiring customers to make conscious choices, and setting a benchmark for the entire industry. To achieve this, Eurotorg have developed and approved a set of policies that define its approach to sustainability and allocate responsibilities for their implementation across the Company.
